It’s no secret to anyone who has read my blog much at all that my faith has been tested the last few months. The opportunity to read Tracie Miles‘ new book, Unsinkable Faith, could not have come at a better time for me!
Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. I received a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
The thing I love most about Tracie’s book is how she consistently points out the power we have, through Christ, of course, to take control of our thought life, and how taking control of negative thoughts affects our faith for the better. If you are struggling with your faith, or know someone who is, this book is especially beneficial. But quite honestly, all of us struggle on a pretty consistent basis, even on a small scale, with keeping our faith strong.
Each chapter of the book has awesome personal examples from Tracie’s own life and the lives of those she has known, all of which put into very real perspective how our faith is affected by our thought life. Between those personal examples, the biblical stories that she weaves throughout the book, and even scientific resources that support her writing, the topic is made very relevant in the lives of all believers.
The book includes Scriptures for each chapter that make it an excellent read for personal devotion or journaling time and the chapter challenges provide practical applications to everyday life and spiritual growth. (There is even a 5-Day Optimist Challenge to accompany the book if one chooses to purchase it.) This book would also make a great Bible study for a women’s small group.

“Life is not always as we think it should be, but it is always as God planned it to be.” – Tracie Miles, Unsinkable Faith
As someone who has been struggling and growing in my faith all at the same time recently, I can fully say that Unsinkable Faith has made me look at my thought life in a brand new way. Scriptures in the book have a whole new meaning, and I would love for you, my friends, to find the treasures in this book as well.
Love in Christ,
